Navigating through Death Valley National Park in a fully electric, 6,800 lb stainless steel monster presents a unique engineering puzzle: thermal management and energy conservation. Last month, our field test crew embarked on a 400-mile off-grid expedition from Furnace Creek through Saline Valley Warm Springs.

"WITH 1,200 WATTS OF ROOFTOP SOLAR RETROFITTING OUR VAULT BED, WE HARVESTED 8.4 KWH OF DIRECT ENERGY DAILY WITHOUT CRANKING A SINGLE GENERATOR."

1. Suspension Adjustments on Rock Trails

Our modified long-travel air suspension provided 19.8 inches of maximum clearance. Navigating sharp basalt rocks that routinely destroy standard AT tires, our 35-inch forged beadlock wheels maintained optimal traction at 18 PSI without any tire bead slippage.

2. Thermal and Battery Stability in 112°F Heat

Under continuous intense sunlight, battery temperatures remained stable thanks to our active thermal canopy dissipation channels. Thermal throttling was zero during low-speed high-torque incline crawls.

3. Off-Grid Living Setup

Using the onboard 240V power outlets connected to our slideout induction camp kitchen, we prepared hot meals while running high-power LED camp floodlights throughout the entire 5-day journey.
